Hello readers,
Did you know that October is Pastor Appreciation Month? Our leaders are worthy of “great respect and wholehearted love” (1 Thessalonians 5:12–13) for the way that they shepherd, teach, equip, and build up our churches.
When we reflect on the churches we’ve attended, many of us can probably think of pastors who have made a meaningful impact on our faith. They are not perfect by any means, but they humbly and consistently point us to a Savior who is.
If you are looking for ways to appreciate your pastor this month, here are three ideas:
- Pray: Ask your pastors how you can pray for them—and then follow through.
- Write a note: Encourage your pastors by taking the time to tell them how they have encouraged you.
- Serve in your church: Ask your pastors how you can get involved at your church and serve wholeheartedly.
Additionally, Tyndale is celebrating this special month with a sale featuring more than 40 books written by trusted pastors. Each can serve as a biblical resource for church leaders and members.
